Carl Kempe is Techn lic in Wood Technology, Dr hc mult. He is also chairman of the Kempe Foundation and MoRe Research AB and deputy chairman of Holmen AB.

Jukka Kilpelainen
Jukka re-joined Stora Enso as SVP Corporate R&D in February 2007. Before that he worked three years as President of KCL, the globally leading  pulp,paper, packaging and media  research company. Jukka has a 27 years' history with Stora Enso working in variety of tasks, most recently as Senior Vice President of the Fine Paper Division's Office Papers business area in London (2001 - 2003) and as Senior Vice President Planning of Stora Enso Fine Papers in Düsseldorf (1998 - 2000). Jukka graduated from Helsinki University of Technology in 1989 obtaining a Master of Science degree, and in 1992 obtaining the MBA degree.

Torbjörn Larsson
Torbjörn Larsson is CEO of Bergvik Skog AB. He has an M Sc in Forestry as well as an M Sc in Economics.

Prof. Ove Nilsson
Ove Nilsson is a plant molecular biologist and is Professor in Plant Reproductive Biology at the Department of Forest Genetics and Plant Physiology, SLU, Umeå. Nilsson is heading the National Swedish Program for Plant Development funded by the Foundation for Strategic Research (SSF) as well as the "UPSC Centre for Forest Biotechnology" which in 2006 was selected as one of four Berzelii centers to receive 10 years of support from the Swedish Research Council (VR) and the Swedish Governmental Agency for Innovation Systems (VINNOVA). His research area is the control of flowering, with a special emphasis on the genes controlling flowering time in trees. Applications of this research involve the development of early flowering trees as a tool for conventional breeding. It also involves the development of non-flowering trees as an enabling technology for future plantations of genetically modified trees, core areas for STT.

Prof. Mathias Uhlén
Mathias Uhlén is Professor of Microbiology and Vice President at the Royal Institute of Technology (KTH), Stockholm, Sweden. Prof Uhlén is chairman for the Biotechnology Section at the Royal Swedish Academy of Engineering Science (IVA) and he is also a member of the Royal Swedish Academy of Science.

Maria Wallin Wållberg
Maria Wallin Wållberg is the CEO of Innovationsbron Umeå. She is also the Project Manager of Connect Norr. She has a degree in Business Administration with emphasis on marketing. Her previous experience includes Swedish export industries, banking and consulting. She is member of the board of several SME companies.
